Make a cup of black tea using 2 tea bags.
Put in a mixing bowl and add:
1 cup sultanas
1 cup currants
1 cup muscovado sugar
1/4 cup mixed peel
1/2 cup glacé cherries
Microwave for 30 minutes on Low setting.
Put 1 egg in 2 cups self-raising flour. Mix into fruit and put in a well-greased
tin.
Bake at Regulo 3 for 2 hours.
Leave to stand overnight.
